Venezuelans Ronald Acuña and Gleyber Torres are emerging as favorites in their positions for the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, as the votes unfold.


The votes also include José Altuve, Andrés Giménez, Luis Arráez, Eugenio Suárez and Francisco Álvarez.

Acuña Jr. , increased its popularity by 47.7% and surpassed one million votes. He rose from sixth to fourth place among the most voted and if chosen, it would be the fifth choice for the All-Star Game.

Meanwhile, second baseman Gleyber Torres leads the American League voting with more than one million votes. Torres, of the Detroit Tigers, also recorded a 52.8% growth in voting. If chosen, it would be his third time in an All-Star Game.

Other prominent Venezuelans include José Altuve, who is fighting for second place in the votes for second base.
