The Government of Venezuela rejected the statements of the president of Guatemala, Alvaro de León, in which he seeks to align himself with the extreme right factors of the continent and in line with the orders issued by his masters of the north, through interference in Venezuelan political affairs.
“The only indisputable thing here is that you sold your dignity and soul to the United States, and you only repeat what they order you to do,” wrote Venezuelan Vice Foreign Minister, Rander Peña, who wondered how many U.S. State Department officials review their statements first, before they give him permission to speak.
“It's a shame to see how they try to join the club of the regional extreme right, the Venezuelan people made a decision that neither their poorly written comments on networks nor any pressure will prevent us from making it respected. By the way, you'd better focus on your internal planes; that your country's own Public Prosecutor's Office has an open investigation into you for alleged corruption. You don't want to use the old tactic of talking about your neighbor to divert attention from problems in your own home, are you?” , said the Deputy Minister of Latin America in his account on the social network Telegram.
