Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services evaluated infrastructure improvements for the student sector

During a strategic planning day, the authorities of the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services (VSOPS) held a videoconference with youth spokespersons to evaluate the achievement of projects that impact the development of the student population.

The meeting, reported by the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), on its website, was attended by the minister of this office, Jorge Márquez, the Minister for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, as well as representatives of the Venezuelan Federation of Middle Education Students (FEVEEM) and the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU).

The meeting evaluated progress in the area of comprehensive rehabilitation of high schools and universities, as well as the intervention of sports areas in line with the priorities identified previously.

Actions were also drawn up for the consolidation of new student routes. This core task seeks to strengthen public transport services through the improvement of fleets and the design of efficient routes that facilitate transportation to academic institutions.

This monitoring space served to review the tasks to be carried out in the context of Q2: Human Cities for Good Living, Public Services and Infrastructure.

In this regard, the agenda also included the revision of the 1×10 Good Governance System, focused on optimizing attention to the reports of the VenApp Line to accelerate the resolution of cases on a territorial scale.

Márquez praised the commitment of the multidisciplinary teams of the entities that make up the VSOPS, highlighting their incalculable efforts to meet the goals set by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.
