The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called this Saturday to combat speculation in the prices of essential products such as eggs, chicken and meat, during a tour of the Open Air Market in the Los Frailes de Catia Commune, in Caracas.
In this regard, Rodríguez announced that firm measures will be taken to protect the Venezuelan people from abusive practices and noted that after meetings with the Economic Cabinet and the commercial and productive sectors, a pattern of price speculation has been identified.
“We have detected speculation, it must stop. They have hours to rectify and correct, because if not, we are going to take action hand in hand with the people, but it cannot be speculation against the Venezuelan people,” he said, quoted in a press release from the Vice Presidency.
