Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: Hotel occupancy grew 61.5% during Carnival 2025

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that hotel occupancy in the country increased by more than 60% during the Carnivals 2025, compared to the issue in 2024.

“The hotel service grew by 61.5% in occupancy compared to 2024. These are good numbers for the Tourism Engine,” Rodríguez said during the balance sheet of Operation Happy Carnival and Insurance 2025, from Simon Bolivar Park, in Caracas.

He recalled that President Nicolás Maduro instructed to accentuate the activity of Motor Tourism, “because it is a possibility of earning foreign exchange for the country, but it is also a possibility of enjoyment for Venezuelans.”
