Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: The Red Army freed humanity from fascism

This Tuesday, May 13, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that those who have tried with the Hollywood machinery to falsify the facts, the truth of what an organized and resistant people, in civilian-military union, together with the great Red Army “to free Europe from fascism” means .

“By freeing themselves, Europe, they also freed humanity from fascism and left lessons for history,” he highlighted during the inauguration ceremony in Caracas, of the Victory Square of the Great Patriotic War, in homage to Russia on its 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army against Nazifascism during the Second World War.

In that sense, he stated that it is “a monument that celebrates the truth of Free Peoples, it is a monument that reflects the spirit of anti-fascist Peoples”.

He also stated that the work, in addition to reflecting the spirit of anti-fascist peoples, “strengthens the brotherhood between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”

“If we analyze what the Second World War was, we know what the late intervention of the United States of America was like, in just the last 10 months, while the Soviet Union was strengthened in defense of the territory,” he said.

Rodríguez said that “it was the Red Army, which regained control of 70% of the territories occupied by Hitler's troops. The Red Army destroyed more than 80% of the Nazi army's capabilities.”

“It was the glorious Russian people who gave lessons, defeating Nazism, defeating that terrible opprobious machinery of death, hatred and arrogance,” he said.
