Through a telephone contact on Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, confirmed that the machinery set up for this Saturday's electoral simulation is already working at 100%.

“This activity is planned as part of the votes to the National Assembly (AN), governorates and legislative councils. This simulation verifies the technical and logistical operability of the phases of the process, which starts at 8:00 in the morning and ends at 6:00 in the afternoon,” Quintero reported

He also stressed that the simulation is developed so that when the citizen exercises their right to vote, it is in a simple and pleasant way “that the scheme of when the voter is in front of the machine is maintained”.

Through the modern CNE system, voters will be able to easily access the voting card, “they will choose their preferred party and the options will be displayed,” said the vice-president of the electoral body.

The rector stressed that “569 elected offices will be elected to the AN, 24 governors and 260 positions to legislative councils. At the CNE, we have done a lot of hard work to guarantee the right to vote.”
