Vice President Rodríguez: 57,000 gas cylinders have been distributed after popular consultations

In an effort to meet the needs of communities and improve gas supply, the Venezuelan Government, with the Special Plan of PDVSA GAS Comunal, has distributed more than 57,000 bottles since the beginning of the popular consultations, said Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.

From the Antímano parish, Rodríguez added that the “General Staff of Hydrocarbons, was deployed throughout the national territory (...) more than 31,000 gas cylinders, which is already in addition to all the requests that were made in the projects under popular consultation”.

The Vice President reported that “more than 60% of the resources of this popular consultation have already been transferred to the communes to finance their project” and stressed the importance of community participation in this process, highlighting “the impact of the popular consultation so that it is the organized community, the communes, the communal councils, in conjunction with the communal circuits, who decide where to make economic investment, social investment”.

Rodríguez also indicated that the community of The Eighth Socialist Star carried out work on “infrastructure, restoration of facades, recovery of roofs, also of sewage, of roads, and today we are just attending the fourth popular consultation, which has to do with the replacement of gas cylinders.”
