This Saturday, July 5, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, denied a publication made by the Bloomberg news agency, regarding inflation and a false fall in oil production in Venezuela.
Through his account on the social network Instagram, Rodríguez criticized the statement of this media outlet, “Bloomberg makes use of its ruined reputation and sinks even deeper into the garbage of history to join the chorus of those who attack the Venezuelan economy.”
In that regard, he emphasized that “everything stated is totally false. Oil production is continuing its course of gradual recovery, they know this because they have verification mechanisms, but they choose lies and insults.”
“Venezuela also maintains unchanged its contractual commitments with international companies in the country, victims of illegal US sanctions. Bloomberg knows that, too. With this set of lies, they only intend to direct misperceptions about the Venezuelan economy and affect its performance,” he stressed.
The Executive Vice President assured that “Venezuela in national union will continue its improvement and recovery. On the contrary, will Bloomberg ever be able to regain its prestige? It looks unattainable.”
