The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed that Russia and Venezuela, having reached 80 years of bilateral relations, are now consolidating their strategic alliance based on respect, solidarity, peace and the vision of building a multipolar world.
“We have built a common path marked by mutual respect, cooperation and the struggle for a world free of hegemonism, to consolidate a strategic alliance based on the defense of peace and on the configuration of a multipolar international order,” Rodríguez said through his Telegram channel.
He also emphasized that with the signing of a high-level agreement between President Nicolás Maduro and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Moscow soon, cooperation relations between the two nations are deepening.
In addition, he reaffirmed the coincidence of Venezuela and Russia in the fight against fascism and neofascism. “Our peoples have come together to make a future of respectful cooperation and solidarity a reality,” he said.
