Vice President Rodríguez: Venezuela is a glorious and dignified country that does not allow itself to be threatened or blackmailed by anyone

This Wednesday, March 5th, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the spirit of Commander Hugo Chávez continues to guide the bright path of Venezuela, which is destined for greatness and that does not give up to any empire in the world.

“With that spirit of whom we sowed 12 years ago of Commander Hugo Chávez, who continues to mark our luminous path, who continues to mark our path of greatness as an invincible country, but also a glorious country; in the history of Venezuela what we have is glory, historical dignity and strategic victory to never allow ourselves to be threatened or blackmailed, we are a sovereign and independent nation,” said Rodríguez.

In that sense, he reaffirmed that the People of Venezuela have “the right to self-determination, we will never be willing to negotiate it either with old empires or with nascent or decadent empires, with any type of empire, these are the lessons of our history.”

He reaffirmed that we Venezuelans “take history to mark our future and the future of Venezuela is Venezuela's power, it's a happy Venezuela, it's the Venezuela of love and it's the Venezuela of a people that has a right to the future, that has the right to happiness, peace, tranquility and growth.”

He emphasized that despite the attacks, Venezuela continues to advance with the People, “if we have come this far it is because we are called and destined for greatness, let us never doubt them for a second or a minute that what awaits us is great as a nation, that what awaits us is great as a people,” he added.
