The Venezuelan national soccer coach, Fernando “Bocha” Batista, announced that Vinotinto will concentrate for 10 days in Bogotá in preparation for the next double round of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, in which they will face Ecuador and Peru in March.

Batista explained that Vinotinto will meet in the Colombian capital, which is located at an altitude of 2,640 meters above sea level, making it an ideal place to acclimate to the altitude of Quito (2,850 meters above sea level), where the match against Ecuador will be played on March 21 for South American Qualifiers.

The strategist explained that several players will appear ahead of schedule because some of them will not have commitments to their respective clubs on that date, allowing for more preparation time.

The coach of the national team stressed that the double date of South American qualifiers is crucial, since they face two high-level teams on the way to the 2026 World Cup, specialized press reported.
