Water Ministry repaired 72-inch pipe on El Cafetal's main avenue

In less than 48 hours, the Multidisciplinary Team of the Ministry of People's Power for Water managed to repair the incident in a 72-inch pipe, belonging to the northern feeder of the Tuy II Production System, specifically on the main avenue of El Cafetal, between Santa Paula and El Limón Street, Baruta parish in Miranda state.

The Minister of the People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast, and the president of Hidroven, Jhonn Alonzo, were in charge of the operations, in which heavy machinery was used to make way for the pipeline, which was about 10 m deep.

Security and security agencies were always on the perimeter to ensure the well-being of those who traveled the area, a perfect fusion to move forward in an orderly and efficient manner, according to the Ministry of Water press.

Engineers, technicians and workers executed each step with precision to seal the damage and proceed with the maneuvers to recover the supply to care for 450,000 families in the municipalities of Sucre, Libertador and Baruta.

In this way, the system was fully operational, thanks to men and women committed to the well-being of the people and the development of the Homeland.
