This Tuesday, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party
of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, moved to the state of Zulia where
he led a meeting with the board of directors of the entity's red awning to
organize the structures to guarantee the victory of the revolutionary forces
in the presidential elections scheduled for July 28 of this year.
In his speech, the one also designated as
political sponsor of the Zulian entity, emphasized the need to ensure that
the care plans promoted by the president of the republic, Nicolás
Maduro, reach the most vulnerable communities in this state, so he
proposed the organization of a direct care plan for indigenous peoples, stating that:
- “Here in the state of Zulia, the indigenous population is fundamental.”
- “The campaign that Venezuela's enemy sectors have, they always seek to attack for the sectors that they believe are weakest.”
- “Before you (President Nicolás Maduro) appointed the godparents of the country's states, the 1x10 in the state of Zulia was very low, around 8% and that was due to the fact that there is no regional government here, only mayors, and since the appointment of the godfather and the entire structure, we have been close to 70% of cases treated.”
- “President Maduro is very concerned about the Zulia issue, very concerned and for that reason he is sending his ministers here in vain and we have raised very specific things for Zulia's attention and the President has demonstrated and given instructions to the vice-president (Delcy Rodríguez) for immediate attention.”

Regarding the upcoming electoral process, the political leader of the socialist tent insisted
on the importance of breaking with the
divisionist and groupalist tendency that characterizes the revolutionary forces in this entity, arguing that:
- “Let's fulfill what the President (Maduro) said, that April 16 will become a turning point in politics in the state of Zulia, a breaking point with groups and divisions.”
- “After five meetings, I see symptoms of not understanding the background and I tell them to those I've had to talk to them; that's not right, they're taking a very personal approach and here's a Zulia that's way above that.”
- “Count on the entire town of Zulia with all my support (...) Our leaders are with the People 24 hours a day.”
- “This is the time to move forward in Zulia, but to move forward thinking about 50 or 100 years of Revolutionary unity, that the small groups end and there is nothing that 'I want to be such a thing or such a position'”.

Later, he moved to Francisco Eugenio
Bustamante parish, where he delivered a Socialist Mission Base, as well as equipment
kits for another 200 distributed throughout the entity, noting that:
- “A Mission Base is being delivered that will serve around 2,000 families who live here, but equipment kits are also being delivered for 200 mission bases in the state.”
- “This is part of the new phase announced by President Nicolás Maduro to cover and reactivate Mission Bases and serve people in their own area and community.”

The Psuvist leader highlighted the actions of the Revolution
to guarantee the attention of the People, recalling that:
- “While liberalism eliminates the Ministries of Health, Education, and care for people here in Venezuela, we have never lost them and will never lose them, on the contrary, that is one of Commander Chávez's guidelines from the outset, that the most important thing is the human being.”
- “Sometimes we fail to do some things, but it is the task that Commander Chávez left us and we are going to fulfill it; which is to always be with the People, to go to the places where people need us most and give them love, which is sometimes what they need most and that is the idea of party, government and Revolution.”
