Whinton Palma and Roselvys Moreno absolute 21K champions in the San Celestino Half Marathon in Anzoátegui

Whinton Palma in men's and Roselvys Moreno in women were crowned absolute champions of the 21 kilometers of the San Celestino 2026 Half Marathon, which was held this Sunday, May 17, for the fourth consecutive year, in the state of Anzoátegui.

The event, with the participation of more than 2,200 athletes in 11 categories, started at 6:00 in the morning, from Costanera Avenue, to complete the 10 and 21 kilometer routes.

In this event, the absolute winners in men's and women's 10 and 21k were awarded, as well as the first three places, both women's and men's, in all categories, obtaining their respective medals.

Palma was escorted by José Reyes and Pedro Puentes, while Zuleima Amaya and Nubia Arteaga did the same with Moreno, according to a press release from Última Noticias.

In the 10K distance, Jhoiner Delgado, Roynee Maetran and Franmik Semprún won first, second and third place, respectively, in men; while in women's, María Ascanio, Belgium Duque and Shantal del Ville won.
