Venezuelan athlete Yariana Carpio won
gold and silver medals at the close of the First Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024, Bolivia
The Venezuelan runner took first place in the
400m hurdles competition with a time of 1:02.05. The second was won by the Peruvian Ximena
Vásquez with 01:06.37 and the third went to the Bolivian Luciana Estrada with 01:08.18.
While Carpio won the silver medal in the 4x400 with his team with a time of 3:36.46. The gold medal was won by the Colombian team with 03:36.46 and the bronze one by the Team of Peru with 03:40.79.
