Women's Professional Volleyball League defines its semifinals on a decisive day

The tenth round of the regular phase of the Women's Professional Volleyball League will define the single-elimination crosses and the four tickets to the postseason. Although Caracas Sport Voley and Guacharas de Monagas already have their place assured, the battle for the lead and the last two places in the standings keeps the national fans in suspense.

Caracas Sport Voley currently leads the table with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses. The capital's team will defend the top of the championship as a visitor against Universitarias de Miranda.

This duel will take place at the Francisco Mujica Toro Sports Center in Guatire on Friday and Saturday. For their part, the Mirandino team, which is in third position with a record of 7-11, will seek victory at home to seal their mathematical pass to the next round.

In Maturín, Guacharas de Monagas, with 14 wins and 4 setbacks, will try to storm first place in the standings. The women from Monaguense will receive Aragua VL at the Gilberto Roque Morales gymnasium. The Aragüeño sextet comes in fifth place with a 6-12 mark and faces this double commitment with the obligation to surprise the locals to snatch a place in the semifinals.

Finally, Centellas de Guayana will defend their fourth place on the board. With a balance of 7 victories and 11 losses, the Guayanese squad will travel to the José María Vargas de Maiquetía gymnasium to face Nacionales de La Guaira. The Guiana team needs positive results on this double date to ensure their presence in the decisive instance and prevent their pursuers from ending their aspirations for the title.
