The Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez, notified the supervision of the projects carried out in the Caracas-La Guaira Community Corridor, where the 7T Plan is being developed in the community, which aims at rehabilitation and optimization for the direct benefit of Caracas families.

Through a multidisciplinary deployment, the Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services, led by Jorge Márquez, who accompanied by the mayor of the Libertador municipality Carmen Meléndez, confirmed the scope of the works carried out in Colina Simón Bolívar, a community integrated into the “Heroic Villages” Road Corridor, located on the Caracas-La Guaira highway.

“In response to the will expressed by the Popular Power in the National Popular Consultation, significant improvements are being developed in roads, a cross-cutting element proposed as a priority to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his visit last November 19 to the Socialist Commune of Guerreras y Guerreros de Ojo de Agua,” said Márquez.

At the same time, technical water, electricity and public works teams are advancing a comprehensive approach that includes the repair of drinking water pipes to optimize distribution cycles, the recovery of luminaires to strengthen public lighting and the rehabilitation of homes by replacing roofs.

The Plan for the Integral Development of the “Heroic Peoples” Corridor also contemplates the inspection of a communal block, an initiative that leverages the process of self-construction in the community.

In the company of the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, the inauguration of a headquarters of the Caribe Pharmacy took place, strengthening the comprehensive protection system for Guaireña families.

The “Heroic Peoples” Corridor is consolidated as a model of community organization, being the base experience of the subsequent development of the “Productive Macarao” Corridor in Caracas, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.
