With the purpose of strengthening the analytical, scientific and technological competencies of girls, boys and young people, the Teaching Center for Science Teaching (CDEC), Yaracuy nucleus, developed a series of training activities aimed at students of different educational levels.

Students from the National Experimental Polytechnic University of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Unefa) participated in a practical day of the Analytical Geometry Workshop: Cartesian Precision, in which they solved exercises on ellipses and applied knowledge to calculate centers, vertices, focal distances and graphic representation on the Cartesian plane.

This experience, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, allowed them to strengthen deductive reasoning and reinforce fundamental mathematical skills within their professional training.

In the same way, the CDEC taught the continuity of Mathematics Workshop I to students from the Territorial Polytechnic University of Yaracuy Aristides Bastidas (Uptyab), in which they addressed the study of logarithms, their properties and their usefulness to simplify calculations and solve more complex equations.

This activity was aimed at promoting logical thinking and at consolidating tools required for participants' academic performance.

As part of the program, the center also held a day of discovery with students from the Alberto Ravell Basic School, who visited stations dedicated to the areas of astronomy, robotics, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, minerals, artificial intelligence and reading.

Through interactive dynamics and guided demonstrations, the boys and girls expanded their knowledge in a playful and close way, in an experience of sectoral bonding that responds to the CNTQ's plans for scientific dissemination and the strengthening of the education system in the state of Yaracuy.
