In compliance with the guidelines of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Ministry of People's Power for Health, an immunization day against yellow fever was held this weekend in the San Isidro sector of the parish of the Administrative Capital of the state of Guayana Esequiba.

This was reported in a press release from the government of the entity that details that this activity is part of the campaigns deployed in the national territory to control and eradicate diseases preventable through vaccination, thus ensuring the comprehensive health of the Venezuelan people.

The activity took place in an environment of popular union, providing medical assistance to more than 1200 people from neighboring communities such as San Isida, El Cacho, Negro Primero, La Manga and Sifontes mining communities in the administrative capital of Guayana Esequiba.

The governor of Guayana Esequiba, Neil Villamizar, highlighted the importance of this deployment in the entity and specified that “we are here serving our people in the San Isidro sector, bringing health with pediatric and general consultations and vaccination. The goal is for us to eradicate and keep under control all diseases that can be eliminated thanks to vaccines, with medicines that are totally free for our people.”
