Young man captured in Táchira with more than a kilo of narcotic substances

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, announced the capture of a citizen who had seized more than a kilo of narcotic substances allegedly dedicated to the distribution of drugs between the Jauregui and San Cristobal municipalities of this entity.

"A severe blow to the microtrafficking of illicit substances. We congratulate the Bolivarian National Police and its Anti-Drug Directorate for the arrest of 23-year-old citizen Ashley Michel Rodríguez, who had a panel-type wrapper containing an alleged narcotic substance weighing one kilo 94 grams and 78 ziploc wrappers of presumed tusi 73 grams, wrote the regional president in his account on social X.

According to the local authority, “this young man belonged to a distribution network composed of women who distribute drugs in the urban areas. San Cristóbal and Jauregui”.
