This Thursday, the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, participated in the Fidel 100PRE International Seminar that is taking place in the city of Caracas in the framework of the birth of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander Fidel Castro.

“What Fidel saw in the eyes of the youth was what was coming to Venezuela with that extraordinary capacity that the Commander in Chief had to anticipate the facts... He went further, from a very early age he already knew the role that Venezuela should play in the liberation processes of Latin America,” said the Venezuelan foreign minister.

In this regard, he highlighted the agenda that was given to overthrow the regime of Marcos Pérez Jiménez, which were given by Revolutionary Forces that later betrayed the elite bought by Washington.

Venezuela was Revolutionary and was also assigned the artificial role of counterbalancing the Cuban Revolution; because the people of Venezuela were always lovers of the Cuban Revolution,” Gil said of the Fourth Republic.
