Yván Gil praises José María España's independence legacy and celebrates Guaira Day

This Saturday, through his Telegram channel, the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, joined the celebration of La Guaira Day in honor of the hero who was part of Venezuela's Independence, José María España.
“With great pride, today we celebrate La Guaira Day in style, in honor of the birth of the hero of independence José María España, born in this town, as well as the heroic and revolutionary people of La Guaira, who today stand as the country's historical, cultural and tourist heritage,” published the foreign minister.
In 2019, February 28 was declared La Guaira day, by former governor Jorge Luis García Carneiro, who promoted the recognition of José María España, as the entity's true hero.
