Zimbabwean Chancellor Frederick Makamure arrives in Caracas

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Frederick Musiiwa Makamure Shava, arrived in Venezuela this Tuesday to celebrate the First Binational Joint Commission.

The reception at Simón Bolívar International Airport, in La Guaira, was given by the Deputy Minister for Africa of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel.

The agenda in the country of the senior African diplomat includes meetings with government authorities to strengthen ties of friendship and collaboration.

As part of the joint commission, technical working tables will be set up to detail and refine cooperation instruments. Both nations established diplomatic relations on April 7, 1987.
