ZODI Guayana Esequiba advances in the construction of the FANB Jungle Command School

From the social network X, the Guayana Esequiba Integral Defense Zone (ZODI) is carrying out the construction of the Jungle School of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

“The #FANB, through ZODI Guayana Esequiba, continues with the deployment of BRICOMILES from Anacoco Island, carrying out work on the construction of the FANB Jungle School,” reads a tweet.

The writing was accompanied by a video from Anacoco Island in the authorities' review of military personnel.

The School of Jungle Commands of the FANB will form part of the promotion and support for military operations carried out by the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (CEOFANB) in the states of Bolívar and Amazonas. This new military installation is being built on the land of the Anacoco Island Territorial Security Base (BST), in the municipality of Sifontes in the state of Bolívar, and is subordinate to the Guiana Strategic Integral Defense Region number six .

It is expected to have bedrooms, dining room, instruction rooms, offices, outpatient clinic, powder magazine, special jungle soldier court and instinctive shooting court, and improvements and adaptations will be made to existing facilities in the BST. The objective of CEOFANB is for the training center for jungle commandos to start operating in 2024.

The construction of the new jungle command training center is carried out by sappers from the CA José Ramón Yépez Engineer Brigade of the Bolivarian Navy and the Combat Engineering Detachment No. 5 of the Bolivarian National Guard.
