The candidate of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, this Friday, July 12, argued that the extremist right “is looking for criminals and paramilitaries in Colombia to bring them and fill Zulia with violence.”

“I say to that right wing from La Concepción, in Zulia: Extremist right if you eat the light you're going to regret it,” he emphasized.

The head of state affirmed that the People “must defend and protect them, they must be respected by the oligarchy, the extreme right. The people need to be aware, empowered, organized and mobilized as they are here in La Concepción.”

He stressed that the people of Zulia have suffered because of the economic war, as is the case at the time of the so-called “bachaqueros”, who promoted food shortages in the region.

In that regard, he recalled that it was the extremist right that called for illegal sanctions against the country, “the surnames, the oligarchy”.

He also stressed that Zulia has also suffered from the electric war, “how much you suffered because of the guarimbas”.

This was stated in La Concepción, in the Jesús Enrique Lossada municipality, in the state of Zulia, during his meeting with the people of Zulia, who once again expressed their support for the presidential re-election.

“I come from the jungles of the Amazon and the neighborhoods of Petare,” he said and mentioned other areas of the country, “but I had an appointment pending, I had to return to Zulia and here I am in La Concepción.”

“I'm here to seal Zulia's victory,” he said.
