The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution to
leave young people a “beautiful, free and sovereign homeland”.
During the Checkup of the 1x10x7 Machinery in the state of Zulia, he specified
that “we, the founding generation and the forerunner generation, cannot
finish our task until we give you (the young people) a country in
peace and tranquility”, while assuring that the candidate who guarantees these values is Nicolás Maduro.
He also recalled
that during the governments of the Fourth Republic those who protested
against the State disappeared and “they were
never handed over to their parents just because they dared to express their position”.
In addition, he took the opportunity to highlight the advances that Venezuela has made in terms of university education, since today all young people have a guaranteed place, something that did not happen before.
“The right wing disrespects
the education system and wants to privatize it (...) a humble young man who has no
money can never study and who are going to study, in quotation marks,
surnames, the bourgeoisie,” he added.
