A new shipment of 60 tons of food and essential supplies left Zulia state for large national collection centers, located in La Guaira and La Carlota, in Caracas, with the objective of benefiting affected people.

To date, the region has achieved a record of 574 tons of humanitarian aid, fully organized and classified. Donation centers located in squares, avenues, schools, universities, private companies and other sectors received massive support from Zulians.

The entity's Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) led the reception, classification and ground transfer efforts in Gandolas, a strategy that guarantees a transparent and efficient process so that this aid reaches directly to affected families in the center of the country.

State authorities reported that Zulia will continue with preparations to move firmly towards a phase of reconstruction, under the commitment to maintaining permanence, prayer and unity for the well-being of each Venezuelan.
