Zulia: SNGR officials controlled a strong fire that devastated a fireworks factory

This morning, there was a strong fire at the Gallo Verde fireworks factory, in the town of San Francisco, Zulia state, and so far officials from the National Risk Management System (SNGR) are deployed providing immediate care to the victims and working intensively so that they have already achieved control of the accident.

The Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reported that the confinement of the flames and total control of the accident has been achieved, since “our public servants act with commitment and speed, prioritizing assistance to those affected.”

So far, no fatalities have been recorded, however 20 people have been injured and placed in Hospital Noriega Trigo (8), Ambulatorio Silencio (5), Hospital General del Sur (7).

Once the emergency is under control, the investigation process will begin to clarify the causes of the accident and determine the corresponding responsibilities.
