1,228 students from San Agustin Parish received school uniforms

A total of 1,228 students in initial, basic and general secondary education, from San Agustin parish in Caracas, benefited from the delivery of school uniform kits under the brand “Hecho en Comuna”.
According to a press release from the ministry of communes, the delivery of these school uniform kits produced by the Caracas Textile Circuit took place at the U.E.B. Republican Bicentennial of the aforementioned capital parish.
The students of the initial education stage received a combo containing red flannel and sports jumpsuit; while those in the basic and general middle stages received kits with sports jumpsuits, sports flannel, school shirt and school pants, made by communal textile producers in Caracas.
The spokesman for the La Esmeralda Family Production Unit (UPF), Reinaldo Frontado, said that thanks to the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, through the Ministry of the Communes and with the support of the Microfinancial Development Fund (Fondemi), community production, especially textiles, has been strengthened.
Meanwhile, the teacher and representative of the El Conde Community Council, Rosa Álvarez, described it as a blessing that boys, girls and young people are receiving these quality uniforms that are made with the hands of men and women from the City Councils and Communes of the capital.
For her part, Aura Batista, responsible for the Community Textile Economic Circuit, emphasized that through this Textile Plan the different Community Economic Circuits are strengthened.
He announced that deliveries of the Community Textile Plan will continue this week in Miranda, Delta Amacuro and Portuguesa states.
