130 Miranda builders completed the first phase of the formation of Plan Venezuela Renace

Governor Elio Serrano, accompanied by the mayor of Brión, Olga Pacheco, led the ceremony of awarding certificates to 130 community builders in the municipalities of Brión and Acevedo, as part of the actions to attend to the construction, repair and rehabilitation of housing and infrastructure hit by the earthquake of last June 24 in the state of Miranda.

The graduates completed the first phase of the Technical Training Program in Housing Construction Processes, an initiative that, as Serrano explained, constitutes the beginning of a goal set by the Regional Executive to train a thousand construction workers in the entity.

This training, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), covers six blocks of specialized learning that range from reading plans and leveling land to assembling structures, masonry, electrical installations, plumbing and waterproofing.

The state's housing secretary, Erick Lovera, stressed that the central objective of the project is to extend this training to Miranda's 468 communal circuits to accelerate the execution of the Venezuela Renace Plan.

For her part, Mayor Olga Pacheco valued the prominent female presence in classrooms and noted that in her jurisdiction there were nine houses affected by the earthquake, which will be directly intervened by the trained workforce in the area.
