155 Palestinians reported dead in Gaza despite announced ceasefire

Health authorities reported that at least 155 killed by Israeli attacks were transferred to medical centers in various parts of the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
According to local medical teams, 19 people died in air strikes following the announcement of the end of hostilities. In addition, 16 people died after bombs hit a house in the south of Gaza City. Two other residents were hit by shelling in Khan Younis, south of the enclave.
According to what was published by the Telesur portal, during the first hours of the ceasefire agreement, a high number of deaths were recorded in hospitals in the region: 43 were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, 60 to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, four to the Al-Awda Center in Nuseirat, 16 to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah and 32 to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
The ceasefire agreement was approved by the Israeli cabinet on Thursday, following diplomatic efforts by Egypt, Qatar, the United States and Türkiye, as part of a road map to a negotiated solution.
