Venezuelan Ethan Salas connected two undisputed games with the Padres San Diego team in a preparation game as part of spring training for the big leagues in the United States.
Salas, just 17 years old, in his second Spring Training hit thunder in the confrontation between Cleveland Guardians and San Diego Padres, which took place at Peoria Stadium.
The young Venezuelan, who entered the bottom of the seventh inning replacing Manny Machado, connected the ball to Righ Field before the release of reliever Cade Smith.
The hit represents the first double and first hit of Spring Training for this player who places his average at .333 as a result of 2 hits in 6 at-bats.
