21st edition of FILVEN will arrive in the historic city of La Guaira this Wednesday

The 21st edition of the
Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) will open in the historic city of the state of La Guaira
this Wednesday, November 19, at 5:00 p.m., and will be open to the public on
the 20th, 21st and 22nd of this month from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Around the motto Reading humanizes, 31 exhibitors will participate and
book presentations, conferences, recitals, workshops and cultural meetings will take place.
There will also be activities for the mediation of reading
aimed at boys, girls and young people. At the regional level, the
writers Hipolito Aguilera and Modesto Vargas López are honored.
There will also be local and national authors, including
Judith Valencia and Esteban Emilio Mosonyi, two of the writers honored at the national level together with Marc de Civrieux, Gonzalo
Fragui and Juan Calzadilla.
In addition, readers will be able to find literary novelties published by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture through The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library, as well as new titles and classics from other public, private and independent publishers.
