29 Miranda schools are equipped with equipment to strengthen the School Feeding Program

A total of 29 educational units in the state of Miranda received furniture, appliances and office equipment to strengthen the School Feeding Program (PAE).
The delivery, made at the Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa Educational Center in the Sucre municipality, included refrigerators, cookers and freezers. The activity was led by the Deputy Minister of Facilities and Logistics, William Gil, and the governor of the entity, Elio Serrano.
The equipment, according to a press release, also included refrigeration and specialized transport equipment for the operation of the dining rooms.
In addition, laboratory kits were delivered aimed at strengthening pedagogical practices in areas such as biology, as part of supporting teaching processes in educational establishments.
In this context, Deputy Minister Gil explained that the Ministry of Education has purchased 100 trucks to transport fruits, vegetables and vegetables to educational institutions in the country.
“In the last year, we have increased the supply of supplies to our schools by 90% and, in this way, the quantity and quality of the food that is supplied to our children through the PAE,” said Gil.
Gil indicated that, throughout the national territory, 536 works are being rehabilitated in parallel in the field of educational infrastructure, which directly benefits more than 2,700,000 Venezuelan students.
For his part, Governor Serrano reported that table-chairs and uniforms will soon be provided on campuses in the region.
