This Thursday, April 24, 316 new compatriots returned
to Venezuela from Mexico, through the Plan Back to the Fatherland, which is being implemented by
order of President Nicolás Maduro to provide support and guarantee the return
of Venezuelan migrants to the country.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), this
new CONVIASA airline flight was received by national authorities at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, where 164 older adults and 142 children and adolescents arrived.
Venezuelans were treated in a humanitarian manner,
receiving the necessary medical attention and assistance, thanks to the
high-level work carried out by a large team made up of various agencies of the Venezuelan State.
The Plan Back to the Fatherland, this year 2025, has returned more than 3,000 Venezuelans in the midst of the fierce campaign of criminalization of migrants and mass deportations by the United States government.
