3rd International Progressive Theater Festival inaugurated in Caracas

This Thursday, the official inauguration of the III International Progressive Theater Festival of Venezuela 2024 took place at the facilities of the National Theater of Caracas, where different plays are presented, whose purpose is to encourage the population to reflect on humanity.

This was highlighted by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, through a publication on the social network X, @fesitpven, where he spoke with the honoree of this third edition of the Festival, actress Aura Rivas, who stated that acting is something vital that is part of her life, “I, little by little, was learning a lot of things and assuming it now, with a lot of responsibility because this profession is too demanding”.

The artist who has more than 70 years of experience in the artistic field commented that, when it is her turn to play a particular character, she undergoes a process of transformation, “it's another life and when you leave the theater you arrive and hang up that life and then you go back to being yourself”.

To actors and actresses who are at the beginning of their careers, he invited them to dedicate themselves to studying, to work and to take their profession seriously. However, he stressed the importance of carrying out this or any other task based on the values of love, dedication and respect for oneself and other people.

“The most important thing is the ego, the egos you have to leave at home and the share of humility. Finally, he thanked the head of the Office for Culture for this tribute that is paid to him in life, “because unfortunately, my colleagues who have already left, did not have this tribute, I thank life and may this be an example to be done to other artists in life”.
