50 motorcycles join Miranda's security agencies

The Governor of Miranda State, Héctor Rodríguez, handed over 50 motorcycles to the state's security and prevention forces.

From Bolivar Park in La Carlota, Sucre municipality, the Regional President stressed that this equipment was allocated to the Miranda Police, Fire Department and Civil Protection, bringing the number of different patrol vehicles to 450.

Rodríguez said that the purpose of this action is to provide an immediate response to the problems, “as happened in the first quarter of the year with the 800 fires that were managed to be treated with the assigned tankers.”

On the other hand, the Governor congratulated the Miranda Police for the 95 percent reduction in homicides in the state, which is why he assured that the increase in officers and patrols will be constant.

“The objective is to continue offering security and peace throughout the territory, combined with the battle for the values that, from home and school, must be given,” he said.
