Academia Puerto Cabello has a new Technical Director

The Academia Puerto Cabello team of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) announced the strategist Eduardo Saragó as its new technical director.

The announcement was made by the Porteño group through their social networks through a video entitled “The biggest one is here”.

Saragó will be in charge of leading the team in the second half of the 2025 season where he will compete in the Clausura Tournament and Copa Venezuela.

The man from Caracas comes to replace the Portuguese coach Vasco Faísca, who had a brief stint in the Fortinero team.

Saragó has extensive experience in Venezuelan football, winning the FUTVE League title in 2023 with Deportivo Táchira, won the Venezuela Cup in 2013 with Caracas FC, the Apertura in 2008 and 2011 with Deportivo Italia (now Deportivo Miranda) and Deportivo Lara.
