The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) congratulated Philip J. Pierre and the Labor Party for the resounding victory in the recent elections in Saint Lucia.
In a statement, the regional bloc stated that “this result expresses the trust of the people of Santa Lucense in a political project that has defended social justice, the well-being of families and the sovereignty of their nation.”

ALBA CONGRATULATES VICTORY OF THE SAINT LUCIA LABOUR PARTY
The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) congratulates the Labor Party of Saint Lucia and its leader, the Honorable Philip J. Pierre, for their clear and legitimate electoral victory. This result expresses the trust of the people of Santa Lucense in a political project that has defended social justice, the well-being of families and the sovereignty of their nation.
ALBA recognizes in Saint Lucia a country committed to peace, regional stability and the union of peoples. Under the leadership of re-elected Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre, Saint Lucia has played a leading role within the Alliance, raising the voice of the Caribbean in the face of common challenges and strengthening Latin American and Caribbean unity.
The Bolivarian Alliance reaffirms its willingness to continue moving forward together with the Government of Saint Lucia in all the plans and projects they share and to continue working together to consolidate a strong Caribbean and a united, dignified, sovereign and peaceful region.
