The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America — Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Rander Peña, held a virtual working meeting with the president of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Mr. Abdullah Eren, to strengthen cooperation ties and establish joint projects.

During the day, both authorities highlighted TIKA's work in providing training and technical support to more than 108 countries. In addition, the head of TIKA, Abdullah Eren, expressed his interest in strengthening cooperation ties with ALBA.

The work of TIKA aims to build bridges of solidarity and strengthen Türkiye's relations with other nations, especially with developing countries. Areas of action include humanitarian aid, education, health, culture, agriculture, drinking water supply and infrastructure development, among others.
