ALBA-TCP denounces that acts against the Mexican embassy in Quito violate the Vienna Convention

This Saturday, through the social network X, the general secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, released a statement in which they reject the violent act against the Mexican embassy in Ecuador.

“The member states of @ALBATCP consider that the unusual events that occurred at the Mexican embassy in Quito constitute a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the Convention on the Right of Asylum and the sovereignty of Mexico,” Arreaza wrote.

He also added that these “are arbitrary actions that must be rejected by civilized countries around the world.”
