The general secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, rejected recent statements by the head of the United States (US) Southern Command, regarding countries that are members of that block.
Arreaza rejected the sayings of General Laura Richardson that “(Between) Nicaragua, Venezuela, Cuba, there is that link only to have malign activity”, statements she made the day before at a session of the Atlantic Council.
In addition, the ALBA-TCP criticized “the cynicism, arrogance and impudence of this American 'Military Chief' (because) nothing has contributed more to the destabilization of democratic processes in the region than Washington's permanent and bellicose interference.”
