ALBA-TCP supports Colombian President Gustavo Petro's call for a dialogue between civilizations

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), this Tuesday, September 16, issued a statement in which it expresses its full support for the call of the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, to hold a First Dialogue between Civilizations within the framework of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

The statement was published by the Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP, Rander Peña, on his account on the social network Telegram, in which he noted that “in a world marked by conflicts and inequalities, this call stands as a historic necessity to stop barbarism and open paths of respect, justice and true peace.”

“From our Latin America and the Caribbean, we reaffirm our commitment to joining forces and efforts to preserve the life and sovereignty of Peoples in the face of global threats,” he stressed.
