The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), announces that next Monday, February 03, an Extraordinary Working Meeting of Heads of State and Government will be held.

Below is the full text of the announcement:

Commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro foresaw the insurgency of the multipolar world that is consolidating today against all hegemonic and supremacist pretensions, in which the ALBA-TCP constitutes one of its strongest and most clear pillars. In this regard, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America is progressing steadily in the development of its Strategic Agenda to guarantee the realization of the project of union in the most sensitive and necessary areas to guarantee the happiness of our peoples.

At the last Summit held on December 14 in Caracas to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ALBA-TCP, the Heads of Government took concrete decisions in different areas and dimensions to consolidate the Alliance in an integral way, based on its foundational and unalterable principles of cooperation, solidarity and complementarity.

In this regard, the ALBA-TCP announces that next Monday, February 3, 2025, in connection with the 230th anniversary of the birth of the hero Antonio José de Sucre, an Extraordinary Work Meeting of Heads of State and Government will be held, in order to evaluate the progress and results in each of the agreed initiatives in the economic, social and political areas, as well as the approach to respect for human rights and the dignity of migrant populations, as well as the defense of the sovereignty and peace of all of Our Latin America and Caribbean.

“I want more than anyone else to see the greatest nation in the world formed in America, less because of its size and wealth than because of its freedom and glory”
