President Rodríguez: Our challenge is to transform economic growth into social welfare

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during a session of the National Economic Council, together with the delegation of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), assured that the country faces the challenge of converting the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) into improvements in the quality of life of Venezuelans.

“Venezuela has accumulated 22 consecutive quarters of economic growth, and now we have the challenge of transforming that momentum into more social welfare,” the president wrote on her social media account.

He added that his presence at the session of the National Economic Council, together with the delegation of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), seeks to “advance financing, investment and infrastructure mechanisms that strengthen all the country's productive sectors.”

“There is room for all sectors: to produce more, to invest more and to continue to make Venezuela grow,” he reiterated.
