Any boy, girl or adolescent who is a victim of harassment can go to any of the offices of the Ombudsman's Office to state their case and receive the appropriate legal guidance, said the head of this instance, Alfredo Ruiz.
“It is important that complaints be taken to try to eradicate from all (social) networks that harmful content that seeks death and causes suffering,” he said, while stating that the National Autonomous Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (IDENA) and the Student Protection Councils are also trained and ready to deal with complaints.
In the same way, upon leaving the Public Hearing on the Amparo Appeal for the Protection of Children and Young People in the face of viral challenges published on the TikTok social network held by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Ruiz called on children and young people in the country not to take part in these challenges that endanger their integrity and that of their families.
“Don't fall into challenges and those things that threaten your integrity. The call is also for teenagers, they must report any matter that threatens life, incites crime or assaults people,” he stressed.
