This Wednesday, former Argentine ambassador to Venezuela, Alicia Castro, during an interview with Alfredo Casado and the Sin Relato team, assured that President Javier Milei preferred to charter the EMTRASUR B747 aircraft, owned by Venezuela, to the United States (USA), which had no irregularities so that its destination was to be dismantled.

“We had an Air-Commercial Agreement with Venezuela that was very favorable to Argentina . @JMilei preferred to charter the Venezuelan-owned Emtrasur B747 aircraft to the United States, which had no irregularities to the United States, where it was vandalized and scrapped,” Castro wrote through his account on the social network l X.

The Boeing 747 of the Venezuelan airline Emtrasur was detained by Argentine authorities at the Ezeiza International Airport, in Buenos Aires, on June 8, 2022, after being stranded due to lack of fuel.

On February 11, despite the fact that a court hearing was still pending for the 19th of that month, the Argentine Executive transferred physical custody of the aircraft to the United States in accordance with the final confiscation order, which was issued by that country.

Finally, the aircraft was stored and dismantled at the Dade-Collier Transition and Training Airport (TNT), located 58 kilometers from the city of Miami.
