Amazonian peasantry reaffirms its patriotic conscience and elects its municipal spokespersons

The Amazonian peasantry, as an act of reaffirming their patriotic conscience, went out this Sunday to vote to elect their municipal spokespersons.

From the early hours, the election of the municipal spokespersons of the Peasant Councils has been held throughout the country.

“We are too happy, there is a wide participation of the spokesperson of the Peasant Councils and the commissions for organizing, training, productive economy and territorial defense of the Atures municipality, in the state of Amazonas, are being elected,” said one of the participants in statements to VTV.

He also asserted that free men and women have come out to defend the Fatherland, our Venezuela, for the production of the state, the production that today each of the peasants is sustaining with sweat

“We tell Americans not to think that because they kidnapped our president Nicolás Maduro, they beat the people. The Venezuelan people will win in union, in strength,” he said.
