Ambassador Lan Hu: There is a deep friendship and brotherhood between Venezuela and China

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, thanked the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan people for commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the War of Resistance of the Chinese People with the delivery of the commemorative monument which represents the deep friendship and brotherhood of both peoples.

Lan Hu expressed his deep gratitude to the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan people for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance and emphasized that the recognition symbolizes not only China's historic victory, but also the resistance and courage shared by both nations to face and combat any foreign interference, aggression or invasion in their respective territories.

He highlighted the commitment to cooperation and mutual defense that has defined relations between Caracas and Beijing in recent years, and he also specified the symbolism contained in the monument for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the War of Resistance of the Chinese People, granted by Venezuela and what these represent for the Asian country and its population.

He also pointed out that this gift will deepen strategic cooperative relations between both peoples, thus allowing them to continue working for the peace of their citizens.
